PURPOSE

The Benson Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to assist the hospital through in-kind donations of time and effort and, through the efforts of fundraising, make needed purchases at the recommendation of the hospital management.

The contributions of volunteers in getting things done in today's society cannot be overestimated. Volunteers - and the spirit of volunteering - represent a mighty force when harnessed.

Each volunteer is unique. They offer their services for many reasons, but have one thing in common - a willingness to give of themselves to help those in need.

Due to the nomadic nature of our members, the Auxiliary is active from October through May, meeting the first Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the hospital dining room. Annual dues are $5.00.
