Linda Wojtowics, Chief Executive Officer
Linda hails from Chicago and came to Tucson some 12 years ago. She is a nurse by background. After becoming a nurse, she moved through the ranks of charge nurse, manager, director, Chief Nurse, Chief Operating Officer as well as Chief Executive Officer of hospitals.
Linda had the opportunity to become involved in the facility design of several healthcare construction projects and also spent time consulting on the subject of healthcare design.
Linda has been active on several boards, including AZ Board of Nurse Executives, American Heart Association, the YWCA, Pima Council on Aging and several advisory boards. She is a former member of Rotary International and the Foster Care Review Board and enjoys volunteer work, having also served as a medical missionary in South America.
One of the major foci in her career has been education, strongly believing in the future of individuals through advanced education. This has been a primary driver for her in healthcare as she built and supported educational programs from pre-clinical work to doctorate level. Mentoring individuals has been important to her.
Ken Goranson, Chief Financial Officer
Ken brings a mix of for profit and not for profit experience through working in healthcare, manufacturing, and service-related industries. Over 30 years of professional accounting and finance experience in these areas create a unique skill set.
Ken has worked in healthcare related fields including a pharmaceutical manufacturing company as well as a telephonic translation service that concentrated in healthcare as well as a software company that creates software for public health groups. This has enabled him to better understand the many facets of the healthcare environment. Prior to Benson Hospital, Ken spent five years working for University Physicians Healthcare and University of Arizona Health Network as a controller and finance director. This healthcare organization included two hospitals and over 500 physicians.
Ken has an MBA degree from Babson University (Boston) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He has taught accounting and finance classes at the college level in his spare time.
He and his wife have lived in Tucson since 1994 and have four horses that take up any other free time.
Teresa Vincifora, Chief Clinical Officer
Teresa Vincifora was born and raised in Arizona. She obtained her nursing degree through Cochise College in 2003 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration through the University of Phoenix in 2008. Her nursing experience has been Med/Surg and ER Nurse. She worked in the Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center (TMC) and the Emergency Department Clinical Educator also at TMC.
In 2007 Teresa Vincifora was hired to work at Benson Hospital as the Emergency Room Supervisor. In 2008 assumed the position of Director of Nursing. As her role and responsibilities increased she was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and recently Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).
Teresa loves to learn and care for others whether it be patients she cares for or the staff she oversees. She loves her job and looks for every opportunity to learn all she can to be the best she can be at her position.
She has been married for 34 years and has two wonderful sons. She has also been blessed with two wonderful grandsons that take up her spare time.
