The pharmacy provides medications for the admitted and Emergency Department patients at Benson Hospital. They also provide outpatients specialty medications for injection and infusion including:
Intravenous Gamma Globulin, Glutathione, Allergy Series, Lovenox bridging therapy for anticoagulation, Warfarin management, Antibiotic Infusion Management, Luprolide (Lupron), Infliximab (Remicade), Erythropoietin Management (Procrit), Iron Infusion and Management, Filgrastim (Neupogen), Pegfilgrastim (Neulasta), Belimumab (Benlysta), Ibandronate (Boniva), Zolindronic Acid (Reclast), Pamidronate (Aredia), Rabies Immune Globulin and Vaccine, Methylprednisolone Infusion (Solu Medrol), Cyanocobalamine injection (Vitamin B-12), Testosterone injection, Omalizumab (Xolair), Vaccines and Other Medication Infusions and Injections upon Physician Order.
