Benson Hospital is a 22-bed inpatient/swing bed, eight-bed Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center with a multitude of outpatient services. Our team consists of more than 190 employees.
Benson Hospital serves the San Pedro Valley Hospital District in Southern Arizona, an area population of about 5,000, with a draw area of 10,000.

Registered Nurse
Full Time Nights- Per Diem Nights
Seeking a Registered Nurse to be responsible to provide general nursing care and leadership, working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. The RN will promote and restore patient’s health as they provide, delegate, evaluate and coordinate comprehensive professional nursing care through the use of the nursing process for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and background; provide physical and psychosocial support to patients, friends, and families. This individual may oversee clinical care of other personnel including CNA's, ED Techs and unit clerks.
Education:
- Active Arizona RN License
- ADN - Minimum Education
- 6 months – 1 year in hospital setting – Preferred Experience
- Maintain current ACLS and PALS Certification required
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as per Benson Hospital policy.

Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care to underserved populations. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, and promote overall health and wellness. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to serving rural communities. Consultation and collaboration are essential skills, as they are for all members of the healthcare team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or in a related specialty.
- Active Arizona state license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License for prescribing controlled substances.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (AHA BLS)
- Knowledge of advanced practice nursing care and assessment best practices.
- Ability to build business/clinical relationships with medical staff that benefits Benson Healthcare and medical staff as a high priority.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, such as Code via CPT and ICD-10.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical variances.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
HR Generalist
Northern Cochise Community Hospital, Willcox, AZ
Full Time
Seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide support to all staffing functions by posting jobs, coordinating and facilitating the new hire process. Refers applicants to specific job openings, schedules interviews, may pre-screen applicants for the Director. Ensures all paperwork, licenses and certificates are obtained and validated for all employees. Coordination of meetings and conferences, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects. Will also answers non-routine correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Experience may substitute for education.
- Two (2) years of administrative support or human resources experience in a team environment. Must have experience with general administrative processes.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the employment process, including applicable regulatory requirements.
- Skill in handling multiple projects and organizing tasks to ensure attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to listen and accurately interpret others' communication or instructions to take appropriate action.
